The invention discloses a folding type multifunctional scaffold. The folding type multifunctional scaffold comprises a bottom box and a pedal for people to stand, wherein two groups of supporting mechanisms are arranged at the tops of the front side and the rear side of the bottom box; each supporting mechanism comprises two mounting blocks; mounting grooves are formed in the tops, close to the two sides, of the bottom box; the two mounting blocks are rotatably mounted on inner walls of the two mounting grooves through rotary shafts respectively; retractable legs with a locking function are fixed at the tops of the two mounting blocks; adjusting mechanisms for enabling the retractable legs to rotate for a certain angle are mounted between the retractable legs and the pedal; through holes are formed in side walls of the two sides of the bottom box; fixed rods are horizontally and slidably mounted in the two through holes; and pin shafts are fixed on outer walls of the two fixed rods. According to the folding type multifunctional scaffold disclosed by the invention, structures are matched so that the effect of enlarging a bottom supporting area is realized when the pedal is lifted, and the stability of the device and the safety of a user are improved.
