The invention discloses a connecting structure for a pier column of a bridge pier. The connecting structure comprises a pier column fixing structure used for being connected with the bottom end of a steel pier column, the pier column fixing structure comprises a bearing platform, a pier column foot pre-embedded plate pre-embedded in the top side of the bearing platform and a pier column foot plate installed on the side, away from the bearing platform, of the pier column foot pre-embedded plate, and the side, away from the pier column foot pre-embedded plate, of the pier column foot plate is used for being connected with the bottom end of the steel pier column. A plurality of pre-embedded assemblies used for connecting the bearing platform, the pier column foot pre-embedded plate and the pier column foot plate are pre-embedded in the bearing platform, the multiple pre-embedded assemblies are distributed in the circumferential direction of the pier column foot plate at intervals, and the ends, away from the pier column foot plate, of the multiple pre-embedded assemblies are connected with an anchoring plate embedded in the bearing platform. A plurality of reinforcing ribs are connected between the pier column foot pre-buried plate and the bearing platform and located in a frame defined by the multiple pre-buried assemblies. The connecting structure has the effect of improving the anti-overturning capacity of the pier column.
