The invention provides a lifting bucket for underwater sludge cleaning. The lifting bucket comprises a lifting bucket body, lifting lugs arranged on the lifting bucket body, water permeable holes formed in the side wall of the lifting bucket body, an outlet end arranged at the bottom of the lifting bucket body and a valve used for controlling the opening and closing state of the outlet end. The water permeable holes and water draining holes are formed in the lifting bucket, and water retaining rubber strips are ingeniously arranged at the water permeable holes, so that when the lifting bucket sinks, water flows into the lifting bucket, and sinking is accelerated; when the lifting bucket is lifted, the water retaining rubber strips are tightly attached to the inner wall to prevent sludge from seeping out, and water can flow out through the water draining holes. A ball valve is arranged at the bottom of the lifting hopper to facilitate unloading; the ball valve can be opened and closed by pulling a ratchet wheel through a steel wire rope or a chain, and can also be opened and closed through remote control by the aid of a motor and a hydraulic energy storage oil cylinder.
