The invention discloses a residential building and comprehensive building double-water-supply system, relates to the technical field of water supply systems, and aims to solve the problems that a water supply system is single, and existing tap water cannot reach the direct drinking standard. The residential building and comprehensive building double-water-supply system comprises a tap water pipeline connected to residents; and when a primary water tank and a first tap water pump are arranged on the tap water pipeline, the primary water tank is communicated with an independent purified water pipeline communicated to the residents, and RO (reverse osmosis) water purification equipment, a secondary water tank, a purified water pump and a purified water meter are arranged on the purified water pipeline. When the primary water tank and the tap water pump are not arranged on the tap water pipeline, the purified water pipeline bypassing the residents is arranged on the tap water pipeline.
