The connecting device comprises a steel stand column, wherein a fixing plate is arranged above the outer surface of the steel stand column, a sliding groove is formed in the middle of the outer surface of the steel stand column, a bearing groove and a positioning block are arranged below the outer surface of the steel stand column, a steel beam is arranged in the bearing groove, and tooth grooves are formed in the top and the bottom of the steel beam. According to the connecting device, bolts, clamping plates, the sliding groove, sliding blocks and bearings are arranged, after the steel beam is placed, the tooth grooves in the bottom of the steel beam are meshed with racks on the lower portion in the bearing groove, when the clamping plates move downwards, the racks at the bottoms of the clamping plates are meshed with the tooth grooves in the top of the steel beam, then the steel beam can be clamped, the steel beam is prevented from being separated from the bearing groove, the stability during installation is improved, the number of the bolts during installation is greatly reduced, and the working efficiency is improved.
