The invention provides a construction device of a roof color steel plate and an installation method of the roof color steel plate. The construction device comprises a construction frame platform; at least two limiting walking mechanisms are arranged at the bottom of the construction frame platform side by side in the length direction of the construction frame platform; and a baffle is arranged above the construction frame platform along the side edge of the construction frame platform. The color steel plates are borne through the construction frame platform, so that the multiple color steel plates and the construction frame platform can be integrally hoisted to a purline, the construction frame platform further provides a construction operation platform so that constructors can stand on the construction operation platform to conduct construction operation, and then the safety of the constructors is guaranteed; the at least two limiting walking mechanisms are arranged on a roof purline in a limiting mode and walk in the length direction of the purline so that the color steel plate can be driven to move to a laying position; the color steel plates on the construction frame platform are limited through the baffles, and the color steel plates are prevented from sliding down.
