The invention discloses an efficient metal reflection type heat preservation material. The material comprises a plurality of layers of stainless steel foils arranged in parallel; each stainless steel foil is provided with a concave-convex structure; the concave-convex structures of every two adjacent stainless steel foils are arranged in a staggered mode; at least one face of each stainless steel foil is provided with a high-reflection porous coating; each high-reflection porous coating is provided with an open pore structure extending from the interior of the coating to the surface of the coating, and the heat reflectivity of the high-reflection porous coating is larger than or equal to 0.9. According to the heat diffusion principle, the porous structure of the high-reflection coating on the surface of each stainless steel foil is designed, so that heat can be effectively prevented from spreading from gaps between the stainless steel foils. The high-reflection porous coatings can effectively reflect heat radiation, the heat reflectivity of the high-reflection porous coatings is larger than or equal to 0.9, and the heat insulation effect can be achieved.
