The invention relates to a construction method of a bridge deck continuous structure of a simply supported girder bridge. The construction method comprises the steps that S1, chiseling treatment is performed on the top face of a girder; S2, reinforcing steel bars are bound between the ends of the adjacent main beams, concrete is poured, the reinforcing steel bars and the reinforcing steel bars at the ends of the main beams are bound together, the reinforcing steel bars are bound in multiple layers, a layer of concrete is poured after a layer of reinforcing steel bars are bound, the reinforcing steel bars of the upper layer are bound after the concrete is dried, then the concrete of the upper layer is poured, and circulation is performed in sequence; pouring of the wet joint is completed until the poured concrete layer is flush with the top of the main beam; S3, U-shaped horizontal stress plates are installed at the tops of the adjacent main beams correspondingly, notches of the horizontal stress plates face downwards, reinforcing steel bars are bound between the two horizontal stress plates, and then connecting plates are poured; and S4, bridge deck slab steel bars are bound, a concrete bridge deck slab is poured, and the concrete bridge deck slab covers the connecting plate and the horizontal stress plate. The method has the effect of reducing concrete cracking at the bridge deck continuous position of the simply supported girder bridge.
