The invention relates to the field of constructional engineering, in particular to a special building formwork recycling method which is characterized by comprising the following steps of (1) splicing two back ridge formworks with the size of 1.2 m * 1.2 m and laying the back ridge formworks on the ground; (2) laying a formwork unit with the size of 2.4 m * 0.9 m on the two back ridge formworks; using the formwork unit with the size of 2.4 m * 0.9 m and the two back ridge formworks as a box bottom plate; (3) using two formwork units with the size of 2.4 m * 1.2 m as two opposite side plates of a box, enabling the side edge, with the length being 2.4 m, of each formwork unit to be aligned with the side edge, with the same length, of the box bottom plate, and vertically placing the formwork units; and (4) using two formwork units with the size of 0.9 m * 1.2 m for blocking the two opposite sides of the box, enabling the side edge, with the size of 1.2 m, of each formwork unit to be aligned with the side edge, with the size of 1.2 m, of the box bottom plate, and vertically placing the formwork units. The effects of self-assembly and recycling of a formwork are achieved.
