The invention provides a sliding bearing, a sliding bearing assembly, a cantilever crane structure and engineering machinery. The sliding bearing comprises: a bearing body which is arranged in a hollow mode; a pin shaft which is rotatably inserted into the bearing body; a detection piece which is arranged on the bearing body and rotates along with the bearing body; a first connecting terminal which is connected to one end of the detection piece, wherein the first connecting terminal is used for being connected with a reminding circuit; a second connecting terminal which is connected to the other end of the detection piece, wherein the second connecting terminal is used for being connected with a reminding circuit; wherein the detection piece is used for conducting the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal, and when the detection piece is worn off, the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal are disconnected, so that a reminding circuit sends out a reminding signal. By means of the technical scheme, the reminding signal can be effectively sent out according to the abrasion degree of the sliding bearing, a user is reminded to maintain and replace the sliding bearing in time, and therefore, the fault that other parts are damaged due to the fact that the sliding bearing is abraded through is reduced.
