The invention discloses a high-whiteness ceramic large plate and a preparation method thereof. The high-whiteness ceramic large plate comprises the following effective components in parts by weight: 40-130 parts of a hard material, 24-90 parts of a soft material; 0-1.5 parts of zirconium silicate, 0.1-1.5 parts of a green body whitening agent, and 0.3-4 parts of an auxiliary agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: sequentially carrying out ball milling, sieving for iron removal, powder spraying, green brick pressing, drying, glazing, ink-jet printing, sintering and polishing on the effective components to obtain the high-whiteness ceramic large plate. According to the invention, the high-whiteness ceramic large plate is fine in component granularity, good in dispersity, strong in covering power, good in whitening performance and small in color uniformity deviation; the use amount of zirconium silicate is greatly reduced, and the whiteness of the prepared large plate can exceed that of a large plate product which is whitened by using zirconium silicate conventionally; while whitening, the radioactivity of the product is reduced, so that the ceramic body prepared by the method has the advantages of high whiteness and no radioactivity after being fired; and the product performance, the environmental protection performance and the economic benefit of the large ceramic plate are comprehensively optimized, production and preparation of the large high-whiteness ceramic plate are more reasonable, and the large high-whiteness ceramic plate is suitable for large-scale popularization.
