The multifunctional hanging basket comprises a shell, a fixing hole, a fetching opening, a sliding groove, a protection plate, a first bearing rod, a bearing column, a sliding plate, a rotating column, a threaded groove, a through hole, a through block, a first rotating rod and a fourth rotating rod, wherein the fixing hole is formed in an outer surface of the shell, and the sliding groove is formed in the bottom of an inner wall of the shell; two protection plates are slidably connected to the inner wall of the sliding groove, and two first bearing rods are fixedly mounted at the top of the shell.
