According to the method, a hard connection mode is adopted at the connecting position of a new pipe gallery and an old pipe gallery, the new pipe gallery and the old pipe gallery at the connecting position form a whole, and the purpose of reducing the differential settlement at the connecting position of the new pipe gallery and the old pipe gallery is achieved. Compared with a simple method of arranging a steel-edged water stop belt at the construction joint, the method has the remarkable advantage of reducing the differential settlement.
