The invention relates to a connecting structure of a diaphragm wall and a construction method thereof. The connecting structure is used for connecting a first wall and a second wall which are adjacent to each other; the connecting structure comprises a first reinforcement cage arranged in a first pit slot, first concrete poured into the first pit slot, a second pit slot formed in the end, provided with a mortise slot, of the first wall in an excavation mode, a second reinforcement cage arranged in the second pit slot, and second concrete poured into the second pit slot; the mortise slot is a vertical through long groove with an opening in the upper end, an open notch with the wide inner portion and the narrow outer portion is formed in the transverse direction of the mortise slot, and the width of an opening in the outer side of the open notch is smaller than the width of the interior of the open notch; the first concrete and the first reinforcement cage form the first wall; a tenon frame is fixedly arranged at the end, adjacent to the first reinforcement cage, of the second reinforcement cage, the tenon frame is matched with the mortise slot, the tenon frame is vertically inserted into the mortise slot from the opening in the upper end of the mortise slot, and the second reinforcement cage is connected with the first wall; and the second concrete and the second reinforcement cage form the second wall.
