The invention belongs to the technical field of elevators, and provides an elevator for a stereo garage based on a parking robot. The elevator comprises a frame, a lift car, a traction machine, a traction rope, a guide wheel, a counterweight, a controller, a leveling sensor and an electromagnetic clamping device; the traction machine and the guide wheel are located at the top end of the frame; one end of the traction rope is fixed at the top end of the frame and bypasses a hanging wheel on the lift car, the guide wheel and the traction machine, and the other end of the traction rope is connected with the counterweight; the lift car and the counterweight do vertical linear motion in the frame under traction of the traction rope and the traction machine, and the counterweight is located on the narrow side of the lift car; the electromagnetic clamping mechanism is installed between the frame and the lift car; a floor gap filling mechanism is installed between the elevator and the floor; and the electromagnetic clamping mechanism can firmly fix the lift car, and the parking robot is prevented from shaking when going in and out of the lift car. According to the floor gap filling mechanism, the parking robot does not jolt when passing through the gap between the floor and the elevator.
