The invention belongs to the technical field of gypsum mortar, and particularly relates to gypsum mortar for ground leveling and sound insulation and a preparation process thereof. The gypsum mortar is prepared from fluorine-containing desulfurized gypsum, modified phosphogypsum, cement, crystalline flake graphite, rubber particles, inorganic glass beads, molybdenum disulfide, polyvinyl acetate emulsion, calcium lignosulphonate, a cementing agent and a conditioning agent. The fluorine-containing desulfurized gypsum is prepared from sepiolite powder, polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion, sponge particles, a fluorosilane coupling agent and desulfurized gypsum as raw materials; the modified phosphogypsum is prepared from carbide slag, an emulsion soybean phospholipid dispersing agent and beta glucan as raw materials; the preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly preparing fluorine-containing desulfurized gypsum and modified phosphogypsum, then processing to respectively form uniformly distributed premixes with pore structures, and finally combining with the cementing agent, rubber particles, the emulsion and the conditioning agent to increase molecular force among the components, so that the formed gypsum mortar has excellent coagulation performance and compression and fracture resistance.
