The invention relates to a pause-free road switching passing technology, in particular to a rapid passing facility for vertical intersection and a passing method thereof.The vertical intersection rapid passing facility comprises a transverse ground road in the north-south direction and provided with two-way lanes and a longitudinal elevated road in the east-west direction and provided with two-way lanes; one-way slope ramps are arranged in the southeast direction, the northeast direction, the southwest direction and the northwest direction of the vertical intersection respectively, the slope ramps are connected with a transverse ground road and a longitudinal elevated road, one-way middle-layer roundabout roads are further arranged between the longitudinal elevated road and the transverse ground road, and notches are formed in the middles of the slope ramps. Vehicles on the slope ramps can enter the middle-layer roundabout road through the notches, and one-way roundabout ramps are arranged in the southeast direction, the northeast direction, the southwest direction and the northwest direction of the vertical intersection respectively; and vehicles on the middle-layer roundabout road can enter the transverse ground road or the longitudinal elevated road through the roundabout ramps.
