The invention provides a calcareous sand modifier and a preparation method thereof. The calcareous sand modifier comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.3 to 0.4 part of nano clay, 1 to 2 parts of nano magnesium oxide, 1.5 to 1.8 parts of nano graphdiyne, 0.1 to 0.2 part of coconut fibers, 0.4 to 0.5 part of banana fibers and 2 to 3 parts of methyl cellulose. By adopting the calcareous sand modifier disclosed by the invention, the compressive strength and shear strength of the modified calcareous sand are remarkably improved on the basis of using a small amount of modifier, the requirements of the modifier on storage space and transport capacity are effectively reduced, and the modifier is better applied to modification of the calcareous sand.
