The invention discloses a preparation method of spherical ceramic particles for filtering water and a method for manufacturing a water filtering device by using the spherical ceramic particles, and relates to the technical field of ceramic water filtering devices. The preparation method of the spherical ceramic particles comprises the following steps of: 1, selecting high-quality ore; 2, crushing the ore; 3, grinding the ore; 4, carrying out granulating; and (5) carrying out high-temperature sintering. The method for manufacturing a water filtering device by using the spherical ceramic particles comprises the following steps of: 1, screening of the spherical ceramic particles; 2, raw material mixing; 3, standing; 4, molding: pouring the mixture into a metal mold for molding; 5, pressing and shaping; 6, drying; and 7, high-temperature sintering. The problems that a traditional water filtering device adopts common mineral powder particles, so that water filtering is slow, and blocking is caused are solved, and the filtering efficiency and the product quality of a water filtering device such as a tea strainer or a tea tray are improved.
