The trowelling device comprises a trowelling plate, a driving device and a flexible connecting mechanism, wherein the trowelling plate is used for trowelling a base surface; the driving device is used for driving the trowelling plate to ascend and descend so as to adjust the distance between the trowelling plate and the base surface; the output end of the driving device is connected to the trowelling plate through the flexible connecting mechanism, the flexible connecting mechanism is configured to be compressed to cross an obstacle when the trowelling plate encounters the obstacle, and the trowelling plate is restored to the operation position after the trowelling plate crosses the obstacle. The trowelling plate of the trowelling device is connected with the driving device through the flexible connecting mechanism, so that the driving device can normally drive the trowelling plate downwards to abut against the ground, and the trowelling plate can be jacked up by the obstacle when encountering the obstacle, so that the damage to the trowelling plate is avoided, meanwhile, the damage to the operation surface is avoided, the damage to the trowelling robot applying the trowelling device is avoided, and the existing problems are effectively solved.
