The guide rail cleaning device for a railway track comprises a cross arm bottom plate; wherein two transverse support rail shafts are welded to the top end of a transverse support bottom plate in a vertically spaced mode, and the left end section and the right end section of each transverse support rail shaft are symmetrically sleeved with two folding sliding plates in a sliding mode through spring pushing; a positioning shaft rod is vertically supported and welded to the middle sections of the two transverse support rail shafts, and the positioning shaft rod is slidably sleeved with a sliding ring; a group of rail wheels are rotationally mounted at the head ends of the transverse supporting plate sections at the bottoms of the two folding sliding plates. The two pushing shafts are located in front of the two brush wheels, thin-film-shaped soft sundries on the two rails can be pushed forwards in advance, so that the situation that the thin-film-shaped soft sundries are wound into the two brush wheels and are difficult to clean is avoided.
