The invention discloses an ecological restoration structure for a wetland hydro-fluctuation belt based on flood-resistant salix chaenomeloides and a method thereof, and relates to the technical field of wetland hydro-fluctuation belt restoration. According to the method, the salix chaenomeloides is planted in the hydro-fluctuation belt, and the salix chaenomeloides can meet the requirement for long-term flooding and long-term exposure habitat growth of the hydro-fluctuation belt of a reservoir and has a certain biomass, so that the salix chaenomeloides has a certain protection effect on landscape ecology and water and soil loss of the hydro-fluctuation belt of the reservoir.
