A small-radius turning method for a mountain rack rail train is characterized in that a transmission rack is matched with the rack rail train, the tooth surfaces of rack teeth on the transmission rack are conical curved surfaces, the transmission rack is bent to be in an arc shape at the position needing to be turned for use, and small-radius turning is achieved; and the rack rail train adopts multi-shaft and multi-motor driving, a rail of the rack rail train is a rack rail which is formed by sectionally manufacturing transmission racks, splicing the transmission racks and laying the transmission racks in the middle of a sleeper, and straight gears matched with the transmission racks are fixedly mounted on driving shafts of the rack rail train. The small-radius turning method is simple, reliable and easy to implement, the tooth surfaces of the rack teeth are designed to be the conical curved surfaces, the design of multi-shaft and multi-motor driving is matched, and small-radius turning of the mountain rack rail train can be well achieved.
