The invention discloses a modified inorganic powder material which comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 75-85% of inorganic powder and 15-25% of thermoplastic phenolic resin, and the thermoplastic phenolic resin is coated on the surface of the inorganic powder. The inorganic powder contains the following components in percentage by mass: 10-15% of expandable graphite, 0-90% of porous calcium carbonate and 0-90% of porous calcium silicate. The technical problems that in the prior art, a fireproof plate prepared by adding inorganic powder into a thermosetting adhesive is complex in forming process, low in mechanical property, low in fire resistance and difficult to recycle are solved.
