The invention provides a bridge friction support which comprises an upper support plate, a lower support plate, a rubber sliding block and a beam falling prevention limiting assembly, wherein the rubber sliding block is arranged between the upper support plate and the lower support plate, a rigid matching plate is arranged at the bottom end of the rubber sliding block, and the rigid matching plate and the lower support plate are matched to form a spherical friction pair; and the beam falling prevention limiting assembly is arranged between the rigid matching plate and the lower support plate. The bridge friction support has the advantages of being good in damping and energy dissipation effect, capable of preventing beam falling and the like.
