The invention discloses a garbage picking mechanism. The garbage picking mechanism comprises an extension shell, a first bucket and a second bucket; the outer side of the first bucket is rotationally connected with a film shaft; the tail end of the film can be fixedly connected with the second bucket; a main driving rod is longitudinally and slidably connected into the extension shell; the lower end of the extension shell is rotationally connected with a plurality of clamping frames; second inserting parts are formed on the two sides of the clamping frame correspondingly. A clamping plate is formed on the inner side of the first bucket; a first inserting part is formed on each bucket; when no film exists at the two ends of the clamping frame, the clamping frame and the first bucket are relatively fixed through the clamping plate. And when the thin film is arranged at any end of the clamping frame, the clamping frame and the second bucket are relatively fixed. Garbage can be conveniently picked up, and hand contact is not needed; garbage can be wrapped by the film, and peculiar smell diffusion is prevented; and multiple garbage can be picked up.
