The invention provides an adsorption type air water taking device and method based on MOFs, and the method comprises the following steps: adsorbing moisture in air by adopting an open type cycle: continuously introducing moisture-containing air into an MOFs adsorption bed, adsorbing moisture in the air through the MOFs adsorption bed, and continuously discharging the adsorbed air into the atmospheric environment; desorbing and condensing the adsorbed moisture by adopting closed circulation: heating the condensed gas, introducing the heated gas into the MOFs adsorption bed to desorb the moisture, condensing the moisture-containing gas discharged by the MOFs adsorption bed to a dew point to realize the separation of the gas and the moisture, collecting the moisture, and circulating the step through the condensed gas; and water can be taken in an environment with relatively low humidity, and the water taking efficiency is high.
