The invention relates to a composition for preparing a hydrated calcium silicate material. The composition comprises a calcium-containing raw material, a silicon-containing raw material, a catalyst and water, wherein the catalyst is one or more selected from benzotriazole fatty acid amine salt, butyl isooctyl phosphate dodecylamine salt and sulfurized isobutylene. The hydrated calcium silicate material provided by the invention is prepared from the composition. By using the hydrated calcium silicate material provided by the invention, set cement can be enhanced, the thickening time of cement paste is basically not influenced, and the hydrated calcium silicate material does not have a coagulation accelerating effect.
