The invention discloses a dry material for a continuous casting tundish working lining, and relates to the technical field of metallurgical tundishes. The invention relates to a dry material for a continuous casting tundish working lining, which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: magnesia, ceramic powder, magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, aluminum oxide, a composite binding agent, an additive and mineral fiber, wherein the particle size of magnesia, ceramic powder, magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, and aluminum oxide is controlled to be 2-4mm, the composite binding agent comprises aluminum chloride micro powder, borax, an antioxidant, clay and calcium carbonate micro powder, and the mineral fibers comprise glass fibers, asbestos and crocidolite which are equal in mass proportion. By adding the mineral fibers step by step, a relatively compact fiber-containing layer can be formed inside and in a shallow layer in the forming process of the dry material of the tundish working lining, so that the cracking probability of the inside and the surface of the tundish working lining can be reduced when the tundish working lining is subjected to high-temperature operation, the heat resistance of the working lining is improved, and the service life of the working lining is prolonged.
