The invention discloses a waterproof coiled material for a building. The waterproof coiled material comprises a machine shell, a cutting mechanism arranged at a right upper end of the machine shell and used for cutting, a moving mechanism arranged at an right upper end of the machine shell and used for driving the cutting mechanism to move and adjust the cutting position, a laying mechanism arranged at a lower end of the machine shell and used for laying a vertical wall face, a conveying mechanism used for conveying coiled materials and a compacting mechanism used for conducting laying and compacting on the ground, wherein the compacting mechanism comprises a retracting mechanism for retracting when encountering obstacles, a separating mechanism for controlling the separating position and a downward pressing mechanism for downward pressing.
