The invention discloses a composite stony desertification ecological restoration method which comprises the following steps: spreading soil and an artificial matrix on stony desertification land, dividing the stony desertification land, digging a blocking channel, and planting shrub plants and arbor plants in the blocking channel; grass seeds are sown or pasture is transplanted in the planting grids; a geonet is laid on the planting grids; and the forage grass is maintained by adopting a micro-spraying facility. According to the method, gridding treatment is conducted on the stony desertification land, soil improvement is conducted on the stony desertification land, the soil is solidified in the mode of digging the planting lattices, the isolation bricks are adopted for fixation, the soil adhesion is improved, water and soil loss is avoided, and the economic income can be increased by planting pasture in the planting lattices. The blocking channels are arranged at certain intervals, economic crops such as arbors or shrubs are planted in the blocking channels, and the capacity of stabilizing soil and maintaining water and soil is further improved.
