The self-cleaning type water tank comprises a bottom plate and a water tank body fixed to the top of the bottom plate, the top and the bottom of the left side of the water tank body communicate with a water supplementing pipe and a water conveying pipe correspondingly, a circulating mechanism is arranged on the right side of the water tank body, and a driving mechanism is arranged on the back face of the water tank body; a first cleaning mechanism is arranged between the two sides of the inner wall of the water tank body, and second cleaning mechanisms are arranged in the water tank body and located in front of and behind the first cleaning mechanism. According to the self-cleaning type water tank facilitating cleaning of the incrustation in the water tank, a motor works to drive the first cleaning mechanisms to move front and back to clean the two sides and the bottom of the inner wall of the water tank, the front and back second cleaning mechanisms can clean the front and back of the inner wall of the water tank, and the cleaning effect is better; and the inner wall of the water tank can be cleaned through one motor, the energy utilization rate is increased, and the cost is reduced.
