Monitoring ground engaging products
Apparatus and methods for detecting features of ground engaging products on earth working equipment are described. The apparatus is operable to: measure a temperature profile at a ground engaging product location; comparing the measured temperature profile with an expected temperature profile of the ground engaging product; and based on the comparison, indicating a characteristic of the ground engaging product. A hot insert for use with a ground engaging product on earth working equipment is also described.
