The invention relates to a cement-based ceramic tile adhesive and a preparation method thereof, the cement-based ceramic tile adhesive is prepared by mixing the following components by weight: powder: 2.5 kg of cellulose, 5 kg of calcium formate, 1 kg of starch ether, 0.5 kg of a water reducing agent, 10 kg of a cement-based ceramic tile adhesive, 0.5 kg of silane-based powder, 490.25 kg of cement, 441.225 kg of sand and 49.025 kg of coal ash, and the powder and the water are uniformly mixed and stirred according to a weight ratio of 1: 0.2 to obtain the cement-based ceramic tile adhesive; the raw materials are mixed and stirred by the circulating stirring device, so that the prepared cement-based ceramic tile adhesive has better performance.
