Provided is a zirconia powder which has excellent moldability, has a high sintering density, and is capable of producing a colored zirconia sintered body by a simple method. The zirconia powder includes: zirconia containing yttrium oxide in a range of 2 mol% to 6 mol%; and one or more oxides selected from the group consisting of Group 4 to Group 9, Group 12, Group 14 and lanthanide elements, the volume of pores having a pore diameter of 200 nm or less is 0.14-0.28 mL/g, and the relative molding density when molded at a molding pressure of 1 t/cm2 is 44-55%.
