The invention relates to a hydropower station portal crane capable of being accurately positioned, a row of gate grooves perpendicular to the water flow direction are formed in the upstream portion in a hydropower station, a plurality of gate chambers used for storing gate plates are arranged on top platforms of the gate grooves, and lifting lugs are installed at the upper ends of the gate plates. The gate can move between the gate groove and the gate chamber through the cart walking mechanism in cooperation with the cart moving track. The trolley frame can be matched with a trolley moving track manufactured on the large trolley through a trolley walking mechanism to move in the direction perpendicular to the large trolley moving track; the fine adjustment platform can be matched with a fine adjustment moving track arranged on the trolley frame through a fine adjustment walking mechanism to move in the direction perpendicular to the trolley moving track; the lifting winding drum is mounted on the fine adjustment platform; and the beam grabbing mechanism is connected with a steel wire rope on the lifting winding drum and is used for realizing connection between the beam grabbing mechanism and the door plate through matching of a beam grabbing hydraulic cylinder on the beam grabbing mechanism and a lifting hole of a lifting lug on the door plate.
