The bidirectional stop device comprises a cylindrical rack mounted on a vehicle carrying plate, a mounting seat mounted on an equipment longitudinal beam, a gear, a gear shaft and a stop unit, the gear shaft is fastened on the mounting seat, is horizontally arranged and cannot rotate; a cavity for accommodating the gear to rotate is formed in the mounting seat, and an inner hole matched with the section of the rack is formed in the position vertically corresponding to the rack mounting position, wherein the center line of the inner hole is vertically arranged; the rack is inserted from bottom to top, can be meshed with the gear and axially slides in the inner hole; the stop unit comprises a movable part capable of axially moving on the gear shaft in a reciprocating mode and a stop mechanism composed of a first stop element and a second stop element, wherein the first stop element and the second stop element can be meshed with each other or separated from each other. The displacement driving mechanism is composed of a reset element enabling a first stop element and a second stop element to be separated and an electromagnetic driving linear displacement element which is controlled by an equipment control system through signals and enables the first stop element and the second stop element to be meshed or combined.
