The invention relates to a construction process of a water-stabilized base in a large-temperature-difference area. The construction process comprises the following steps: S1, construction preparation: surveying and setting out, arranging a guide beam of a paver, testing in a laboratory, and determining the proportion of a mixture; s2, mixing and transporting a mixture: proportioning according to a mixture ratio provided by a laboratory and producing the mixture, and then transporting the mixture to a construction site; s3, paving the mixture: paving the mixture on a roadbed through a paver; s4, compacting the mixture through a road roller; s5, quality inspection: if the water is unqualified, repeating the step S4, and if the water is qualified, starting maintenance of the water-stable base layer; s6, after curing is completed, expansion joint construction is conducted; s61, the water-stable base layer is cut in the transverse direction of the road, expansion joints are formed, and the expansion joints are evenly distributed in the length direction of the road; s62, expansion joint cleaning is conducted; s63, the expansion joint is filled and filled; and S7, finishing construction of the water-stable base. According to the construction method, the expansion and shrinkage conditions of the water-stable base in the extreme environment can be reduced.
