The invention relates to an outer wall spraying device and a construction method thereof. The outer wall spraying device comprises a moving part, a first slurry pipe, a winding part, a spraying head and a telescopic part. The moving part comprises a base, a first wheel set and second wheel sets, the first wheel set is located at the bottom of the base and connected with the base, the first wheel set is used for moving on the top of the outer wall, and the second wheel sets are located on the two opposite sides of the outer wall and connected with the base; the first slurry pipe is used for being connected with a material pumping machine, the winding part is arranged on the base and comprises a pipe disc and an axis rod, and the axis rod communicates with the first slurry pipe; the nozzle communicates with the axis rod through a second slurry pipe, the second slurry pipe is wound around the pipe disc, and the telescopic part is arranged on the base and connected with the nozzle. Due to the fact that the outer wall spraying device is arranged at the top of the outer wall, the requirement for the site space outside the wall is small, and the spraying efficiency is improved by adopting an automatic spraying mode. In addition, the construction method of the outer wall spraying device is easy to operate and suitable for application and popularization.
