The invention relates to a prefabricated stair and a construction method thereof, and the scheme comprises the following steps: S100, prefabricating a stair section and an up-down rest platform, and constructing a stair beam; s200, the bottom hoisting supporting rods are vertically arranged and installed between the two ribbed beams, and a hoisting connecting system of the prefabricated floor slab is formed; s300, the rest platform is hoisted to a stair beam which is constructed in advance, after alignment, the hoisting connecting system is dismantled, and the prefabricated assembly type stair hoisting units are fixed through split bolts; s400, after the prefabricated assembly type stair hoisting units which are adjacent up and down are installed every time, joint treatment is conducted between every two adjacent rest platforms; and S500, the step S200 to the step S400 are repeated till construction of all the prefabricated assembly type stair hoisting units is completed, and finally the stair handrail is installed. The hoisting device has the advantages of being reasonable in structure, high in integrity, high in hoisting efficiency and good in installation quality.
