The invention discloses a method for preparing ceramsite by utilizing incineration disposal residues, which comprises the following steps of: uniformly mixing the incineration disposal residues, coal slime and a soft soil curing agent, granulating, drying and roasting to obtain the ceramsite. According to the method, the incineration disposal residue solid waste is matched with small molecules volatilized in the high-temperature solid-phase reaction process of the coal slime and the soft soil curing agent for puffing and pore-forming, meanwhile, a vitreous phase is formed, high mechanical properties are obtained while heavy metal curing is achieved, and the prepared ceramsite is low in volume weight, high in strength and good in comprehensive performance. The method can be widely applied to the fields of engineering construction, chemical engineering and the like.
