The invention provides a glass curtain wall self-insulation system which comprises a glass curtain plate unit, the glass curtain plate unit comprises a glass frame, a fastening frame, a first glass plate and a second glass plate, the peripheral edges of the first glass plate and the second glass plate are connected through the fastening frame, and the first glass plate and the second glass plate are oppositely arranged and have a gap; inserting grooves are formed in the inner side of the periphery of the glass frame, the fastening frame is clamped in the inserting grooves, water cavities are formed between the fastening frame and the bottom of the inserting grooves, and the water cavities are distributed along the outer side of the periphery of the fastening frame. The water cavities of the adjacent glass curtain plate units are communicated through water pipes. The glass curtain wall self-heat-preservation system has a good heat preservation and heat insulation effect.
