The invention discloses cold ramming paste for overall building of an electric furnace lining. The cold ramming paste is prepared from, by weight, 75-90 parts of aggregate, 15-25 parts of binder and 3-5 parts of additive. Wherein the aggregate is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30 to 50 parts of anthracite, 20 to 25 parts of pitch coke, 15 to 25 parts of graphite powder, 5 to 10 parts of fused alumina, 7 to 12 parts of fly ash and 5 to 8 parts of silicon carbide; the binder is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20 to 30 parts of modified asphalt, 45 to 60 parts of coal tar, 15 to 20 parts of pine oil and 15 to 25 parts of glutinous rice slurry; the additive is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30 to 35 parts of andalusite, 25 to 35 parts of aluminum oxide, 5 to 10 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 5 to 10 parts of gum arabic and 3 to 5 parts of terpilenol.
