The invention discloses an incremental launching construction method for a basket type steel arch bridge with an arch rib assembly support serving as a temporary supporting rod. The incremental launching construction method for the basket type steel arch bridge with the arch rib assembly support serving as the temporary supporting rod comprises the steps that the arch rib assembly support is designed to be a support with a splayed transverse bridge direction; a transverse connecting system is arranged in the middle according to the requirement of the stability of the bracket; the support stand columns on the two sides are main stress rod pieces of the support in the assembling stage and the pushing stage. Column feet are arranged on the lower portions of the support stand columns, column heads are arranged on the upper portions of the support stand columns, and the column heads and the column feet are connected with arch ribs and straining beams in a bolted or welded mode. The construction process comprises the following steps: (1) mounting the arch rib assembly bracket, (2) assembling the arch ribs on the bracket until closure, and (3) carrying out incremental launching construction. The method mainly has the following advantages that each support stand column bears part of the weight of the arch rib sections and transmits the weight to the tie beam, the tie beam is stressed evenly in the pushing stage, the number of temporary projects is greatly reduced, and the construction time is greatly shortened.
