The construction method comprises the following steps that the thickness of a cement-soil stirring wall and the section size and height of a steel underground diaphragm wall are determined; grooving construction is conducted, and water is injected to the designed depth; injecting cement paste and synchronously stirring to form a cement-soil stirring wall; and the H-shaped steel is lifted and inserted into the cement-soil stirring wall, the adjacent H-shaped steel is spliced through the locking opening structures, and the steel underground diaphragm wall is formed. According to the deep and large foundation pit supporting system constructed through the method, seepage prevention can be achieved through the cement-soil stirring wall, most of soil pressure can be borne through the steel underground diaphragm wall, and the two functions of water stopping and soil retaining are achieved. The steel underground diaphragm wall is formed by splicing lock catch structures, and the rigidity of the structure is improved. The deep and large foundation pit supporting system constructed through the method has the advantages of being stable in quality, good in supporting effect, convenient to construct, high in construction speed, high in operability and high in practicability, and the H-shaped steel is convenient to recycle.
