The invention relates to a preparation process and method of a steel slag modified sludge adsorption filler, and belongs to the technical field of preparation of pollutant emission reduction materials. The method comprises the following steps: by taking steel slag and sludge as raw materials, carrying out drying, crushing, bonding and pore-forming processes, adding a certain amount of materials to enhance the strength and performance of the raw materials, then granulating to obtain raw material balls, and then drying, calcining and cooling the raw material balls to obtain the modified ceramsite. The invention relates to a preparation process and a preparation method of a steel slag modified sludge-based VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) adsorption filler, and aims to provide a preparation process and a preparation method which are used for modifying sludge through steel slag and can be used for directionally modifying the chemical function of ceramsite and effectively improving the chemical adsorption performance of the ceramsite. As the steel slag, the sludge and the conventional clay have similar sintering characteristics, compared with the traditional ceramsite preparation, the consumption of the clay is saved.
