The invention belongs to the technical field of mine filling materials, and particularly relates to an inorganic water fixing material for mine filling and a preparation method of the inorganic water fixing material for mine filling, and the filling material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 10-20 parts of quick lime, 30-40 parts of gypsum, 40-45 parts of an iron-aluminum series active material, 2-5 parts of an exciting agent, 1-2 parts of a retarder, 1-3 parts of a compacting agent and 1-4 parts of a defoaming agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: grinding the iron-aluminum series active material into powder by using a grinding machine, and adding the exciting agent and the defoaming agent to obtain component A powder; crushing and homogenizing quick lime and gypsum, grinding into powder by using a mill, and adding a retarder and a densifier to obtain component B powder; the filling material disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of good water fixing capacity, high early strength and adjustable and controllable curing time and strength.
