The steel beam section erecting device comprises the supporting plate, a transverse limiting baffle and a steel pipe pile buttress, and the steel pipe pile buttress is composed of a cushion block, a mechanical top, a distribution beam, a connecting system, a steel pipe pile and an expanded foundation. According to the method, the requirements for clear stress and simple construction of the steel beam sections are met through a simple method, the construction procedures of support installation, steel beam section in-place adjustment and the like are simplified, the number of temporary buttresses is replaced or reduced through the main body structure, the input of the construction cost is saved, the construction period is shortened, and the method has the advantages that construction is easy, convenient and rapid, and the main body structure is fully utilized; and the limitation on topographic conditions and the influence on existing road traffic are relatively small. The method is worthy of being popularized and used for bridges with high stress requirements on welding seams and relatively worthy of steel beam sections with light weight.
