The micro-plastic garbage collecting bin comprises a mooring rope, a shell, a filtering basket and a water pumping mechanism, the two sides and the tail end of the shell are connected with a ship body through the mooring rope, the filtering basket is arranged at the end, close to a collecting opening, in the shell, and the water pumping mechanism is arranged at the end, away from the collecting opening, in the shell; the water pumping mechanism is connected with the ship body, and a plurality of filtering holes are formed in the upper half portion of the shell. The garbage collection device is simple in structure and convenient to operate, can collect garbage on the water surface for a long time, and can collect garbage on the water surface as well as garbage under the water.
