The embodiment of the invention provides an active control method for deformation of a foundation pit adjacent to a railway bridge. The deformation control method comprises the following steps that a foundation pit supporting structure is built on the side of the bridge; a plurality of deformation monitoring devices are arranged on the bridge and in the foundation pit supporting structure; a steel support axial force servo mechanism is erected between a bearing platform of the bridge and the foundation pit supporting structure, and the two ends of the steel support axial force servo mechanism abut against the bearing platform and the foundation pit supporting structure; foundation pit construction is conducted; and in the foundation pit construction process, the acting force applied to the bearing platform by the steel support axial force servo mechanism is adjusted according to the deformation amount of the deformation monitoring device. According to the method, the acting force is continuously applied to the bearing platform of the bridge through the steel support axial force servo mechanism, and the acting force is adjusted according to the deformation fed back by the deformation monitoring device in the foundation pit construction process, so that the deformation of the bridge in the foundation pit implementation process is always within the standard requirement range, and the operation safety of bridge traffic is ensured.
